FAQs
Can we depart from Sorrento instead of Naples?
Yes. Sorrento is a natural starting point for this itinerary given its proximity to both Capri and Positano. This can be confirmed at booking.
Is there time for lunch during the day?
A lunch stop can be arranged at a seaside restaurant accessible only by boat between Capri and Positano, or in Positano itself. Lunch is not included in the tour price and is paid directly at the restaurant.
Can we spend more time on Capri and less in Positano?
Yes. The balance between the two destinations is flexible and can be discussed before departure. The day can be weighted toward whichever place you prefer.
How is this itinerary different from the Amalfi Coast & Positano tour?
This itinerary starts with Capri and then continues to Positano. The Amalfi Coast tour focuses on the full stretch of the coastline. If Capri is a priority, this is the right choice. If you want more time exploring the coast and Amalfi, the other itinerary fits better.
Is this itinerary available as a half-day?
A half-day version is possible but will cover fewer destinations. We recommend the full-day format to experience the coast properly.
Can we add Amalfi town to the itinerary?
Yes, adding a stop in Amalfi is possible and can be discussed at booking. It will extend the duration of the day and may require adjusting other stops.
Can we skip Positano and spend more time at sea?
Yes. The itinerary is fully flexible. If you prefer to stay on the water rather than go ashore, the day can be restructured around navigation and swimming stops instead.
Are marina fees included?
Marina fees are not included and vary by port. In Positano the fee is typically around €150. The skipper will advise in advance and on the day.

The crossing and the first views
The navigation toward the Amalfi Coast begins with open water and builds gradually into something extraordinary. Departing from Naples or Sorrento, the boat moves south along the Peninsula, and the coastline transforms as you go. By the time the first dramatic cliffs come into view, the scale of the landscape is already clear.
The approach from the sea allows guests to take in the full vertical profile of the coast, something that cannot be grasped from any point on land. There are no cars, no crowds, and no fixed commentary. Just the boat, the water, and the cliffs rising ahead.
Along the coast: caves, coves, and open water
The Amalfi Coast is not a single destination but a continuous sequence of viewpoints, hidden inlets, and sea caves that only become accessible by boat. The navigation moves at a pace that allows guests to take in each stretch properly — pausing at a cave entrance, anchoring in a sheltered cove, or simply drifting in the shadow of a cliff face.
Depending on conditions and preferences, the itinerary can include a stop at the Fjord of Furore, one of the most striking natural formations on the coast a narrow inlet carved between two cliff faces where the rock closes overhead and the water turns a deep, still green. Swimming stops are possible at several points along the shoreline where the water is exceptionally clear and access is possible only from the sea. These are places that have no address, no sign, and no crowd. The boat is the only way in.
Positano
Arriving in Positano by boat is one of those moments that stays with you. The village rises from the water in layers of white and terracotta, with the church dome visible from the sea and the beach narrow and crowded below. From the water, before disembarking, the view is the one that appears in every photograph and it is better in person.
Once ashore, guests can explore freely. The narrow streets, the linen boutiques, the ceramic shops, and the viewpoints along the hillside are all within easy reach on foot. The time spent in Positano is entirely unscheduled. When guests are ready to return to the boat, the day continues.

Practical information
Departures are available from Naples and Sorrento. This is a full-day itinerary by design the coastline is long and the stops worth taking slowly. Half-day options are possible but will necessarily limit the number of destinations covered.
Route, pace, and stops are confirmed in advance with the skipper and adjusted on the day based on sea conditions and weather. Marina fees may apply at certain ports, including Positano. All details are communicated directly before and during the experience.
