They sit on opposite sides of the island. By road it is roughly 10 kilometers, about 20 minutes by car or closer to half an hour by bus. This is worth keeping in mind when you book a public crossing, because landing at the wrong port can mean a long transfer across the island. With a private boat, you simply arrive at the port nearest your accommodation.
