Is lunch in Nerano included in the price?

No. Lunch is a separate expense paid directly at the restaurant of your choice in Nerano. The skipper can suggest options based on conditions and availability on the day.

Can we depart from Sorrento instead of Naples?

Yes. Sorrento is a natural starting point for this itinerary given its proximity to both Capri and Positano. This can be confirmed at booking.

Is there time for lunch during the day?

A lunch stop can be arranged at a seaside restaurant accessible only by boat between Capri and Positano, or in Positano itself. Lunch is not included in the tour price and is paid directly at the restaurant.

Can we spend more time on Capri and less in Positano?

Yes. The balance between the two destinations is flexible and can be discussed before departure. The day can be weighted toward whichever place you prefer.

How is this itinerary different from the Amalfi Coast & Positano tour?

This itinerary starts with Capri and then continues to Positano. The Amalfi Coast tour focuses on the full stretch of the coastline. If Capri is a priority, this is the right choice. If you want more time exploring the coast and Amalfi, the other itinerary fits better.

How long is the full day?

Duration varies depending on departure point, pace, and time spent ashore in Sorrento. A full day typically runs eight hours or more from departure to return.

Can we add a lunch stop?

Yes. A stop at a seaside restaurant accessible only by boat can be arranged. Lunch is not included in the tour price and is paid directly at the restaurant.

Is the Blue Grotto included?

The Blue Grotto can be included when conditions allow. Entry depends on sea swell and local access timing. The skipper will advise on the day.

Can we depart from Sorrento instead of Naples?

Yes. Departing from Sorrento is possible and changes the sequence of the day. This can be discussed and confirmed at booking based on your accommodation and logistics.

Can we focus the day on just one island?

Yes. The itinerary can be weighted toward Ischia or Procida exclusively, depending on your preferences. This can be discussed and confirmed before departure.

Can we have dinner at Corricella instead of lunch?

A sunset arrival at Corricella for dinner is available as a separate evening experience departing from Naples. See the Naples at Sunset tour for details.

Can we visit the Aragonese Castle?

The castle can be visited on foot if guests choose to go ashore on Ischia. The skipper can advise on timing and logistics. The exterior and approach are visible in full from the boat without disembarking.

Are the thermal waters accessible by boat?

Yes. Several thermal spring areas along the Ischia coastline are reachable directly by boat, away from the resort areas. The skipper will advise on the best stop based on conditions on the day.

Is this itinerary available as a half-day?

A half-day version is possible but will cover fewer destinations. We recommend the full-day format to experience the coast properly.

Can we add Amalfi town to the itinerary?

Yes, adding a stop in Amalfi is possible and can be discussed at booking. It will extend the duration of the day and may require adjusting other stops.

Can we skip Positano and spend more time at sea?

Yes. The itinerary is fully flexible. If you prefer to stay on the water rather than go ashore, the day can be restructured around navigation and swimming stops instead.

Are marina fees included?

Marina fees are not included and vary by port. In Positano the fee is typically around €150. The skipper will advise in advance and on the day.

Can I depart from Positano or the Amalfi Coast?

Departure points beyond Naples and Sorrento can be discussed at booking. The skipper can accommodate different arrangements based on availability and logistics.

How long is the full-day tour?

Duration varies depending on departure point, route, and the pace guests prefer. A full day on the water around Capri typically runs eight hours or more.

Is lunch included?

Lunch is not included in the tour price. A stop at a seaside restaurant accessible only by boat can be arranged, with the bill paid directly at the restaurant.

Booking and planning

What defines a tailored private boat experience?

A tailored private boat experience is built around your preferences rather than a fixed program. The itinerary, pace, and stops are shaped by what you want to experience, whether that means focusing on scenic navigation, swimming spots, coastal views, or time spent ashore. The experience is designed to adapt to you, allowing the day to flow naturally instead of following a rigid schedule.

How flexible is the itinerary during a private boat tour?

The itinerary during a private boat tour is highly flexible. While a general plan is discussed before departure, adjustments can be made throughout the day based on sea conditions, personal interests, or simple changes of pace. This flexibility is what allows the experience to feel relaxed, personal, and never rushed.

Can routes and timing change during the tour?

Yes, routes and timing can change during the tour. It is possible to extend a stop, add time for swimming, adjust navigation, or modify return times when conditions allow. Any change is always evaluated by the skipper to ensure safety and comfort, while still prioritizing your preferences.

Is the boat reserved exclusively for one group?

Yes, by default the boat is reserved exclusively for one group, ensuring privacy, comfort, and a fully personalized experience. For guests who prefer a shared option, shared tours can be arranged, but they must be requested explicitly at the time of inquiry. This allows us to clearly distinguish between private experiences and shared ones, avoiding misunderstandings and ensuring expectations are aligned from the start.
